Our Equipment

The Lake View Fire District prides itself on providing it's members and citizens with the best, state of the art equipment that is designed to keep both our firefighters and citizens safe. We currently operate the following units: 

Engine 1: 2008 Pierce Velocity, 1000 gallon tank, 1500 gpm pump. In addition this truck carries 1200 feet of 4" supply hose, 3 pre-connected 1 ¾ interior attack lines and a top mounted Deluge gun capable of supplying over 1500 gallons a minute

Engine 2: Engine 2 is a 2001 Pierce Quantum Rescue Engine, 750 gallon tank and a 1500 gallon per minute pump. In addition to responding to calls in Lake View this unit responds to other departments when they require assistance. 

Rescue 7:  2016 Pierce Velocity 500 gallon tank, 1500 gpm pump and is a Rescue/Pumper.  This vehicle carries a full compliment of rescue and extrication tols as well as full supply of EMS equipment and supplies.  

Ambulance 8: 2009 Chevrolet Duramax 4500 ambulance built by PL Custom Emergency Vehicles, this unit can transport patients to any one of the area's hospitals. In addition to a defibrillator, IV supplies, spinal immobilization equipment, it is also equipped with a state of the art Power-PRO XT electric stretcher which can raise and lower with the push of a button.
